This blog is aimed at providing adult readers with a variety of reading suggestions for books with Tasmanian settings and/or by Tasmanian authors. In compiling the collection, I have included books from different genres, with a variety of settings and of different lengths. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of titles available which fit my blog criteria.
It was commenced as an assessment criterion for "Reading makes the world go around", a continuing professional development course offered through the Australian Library and Information Association and Sydney Institute of TAFE in 2013. Certainly it has whetted my appetite to consume more Tasmanian titles in future!
